The history of Caucasus University (CU) dates back to 1998, with the establishment of the Caucasus Business School. CU offers its students high-quality education, international programs, and practice-oriented learning.
Since its founding, Caucasus University has actively collaborated with universities worldwide and currently maintains partnerships with 289 universities in 70 countries.

Caucasus University comprises the following schools: Business, Law, Media, Technology, Architecture and Design, Governance, Humanities and Social Sciences, Tourism, Medicine, Economics, and Education.
Caucasus University, Caucasus Business School (CSB), invites applications for six (6) vacant positions of Assistant Professor in the following fields:
Assistant Professor Positions

Qualification Requirements
- a) For the position of Assistant Professor
A person holding a doctoral degree or an equivalent academic qualification in the relevant field may be elected to the position of Assistant Professor for a term of four years.
Additional requirement: English language proficiency at a minimum of B2 level (in the case of teaching in English-language programs).
A qualified candidate may also be elected to the position of Assistant Professor on the basis of professional qualifications. In such cases, the candidate’s qualification may be confirmed by professional experience, special training, and/or publications. A person is considered to possess the appropriate qualification if they have the necessary competence to achieve the learning outcomes defined by the relevant program.

Required Documentation
Interested candidates must submit:
- A CV in Georgian and English (including information about teaching and research activities);
- Course syllabus(a) in Georgian;
- A copy of an identity document;
- Copies of documents confirming education, qualification, and academic degree/title (doctoral/master’s/bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic qualification);
- In the case of degrees earned abroad, the documentation required for authentication;
- A certificate confirming academic and pedagogical experience (as required by the position);
- Complete information on scientific works (articles, books, monographs, or other scholarly works), including the title of the work, place and date of publication, number of pages, and name of the publisher, as well as copies of the outer covers of the works (information from the last five years is of particular importance for the purposes of the competition);
- In the case of teaching in English-language programs, an international certificate confirming English language proficiency. English proficiency may be confirmed by one of the following: a valid international certificate at B2 level; a document certifying the completion of a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral program in English within the last three years; or citizenship of a country where English is the official language.
Competition Procedure
The competition will be conducted in three stages:
- Stage I – Screening of submitted documents
- Stage II – Presentation/Interview
- Stage III – Final decision
Deadlines and Procedure
- Announcement date: October 1, 2025
- Application period: November 1–5, 2025
- Competition period: November 2025
- Venue: Tbilisi, 1 Paata Saakadze Street (in some cases, depending on the specifics of the competition, it may be conducted online)
- Results announcement period: November 2025
