Caucasus University Explores Collaboration with Huawei

On March 25, Caucasus University hosted representatives of Huawei Georgia to explore opportunities for strategic collaboration in the field of digital transformation and smart education solutions.

 

The meeting brought together senior representatives from both sides. Huawei was represented by Mr. Lu Penghong, General Manager of Huawei Tbilisi, along with Ms. Ketevan Ormotsadze, Chief HR Officer, Ms. Tinatin Sokhadze, Head of Commercial Sales and Partner Development, and Mr. Tornike Kaliashvili, Senior Solution Manager. From Caucasus University, the meeting was attended by President Dr. Kakha Shengelia, Vice President for Internationalization Irena Melua, the Dean of the School of Technology Shota Nizharadze and Professor Maksim Iavich.

 

During the meeting, the parties discussed the ongoing digital transformation of Caucasus University and explored opportunities to enhance the quality of education through innovative smart and hybrid learning solutions. Particular emphasis was placed on developing a modern “Smart Campus” ecosystem that integrates advanced technologies into teaching, learning, and campus management processes.

 

The discussion highlighted a strong mutual interest in establishing a long-term partnership between Caucasus University and Huawei, including potential collaboration within Huawei’s global education ecosystem and academy framework.

 

This collaboration marks an important step in Caucasus University’s ongoing efforts to advance digital innovation and strengthen international partnerships in higher education.
