Caucasus University Announces a Vacancy for the Position of Technical Assistant (Worker).

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Bringing technical equipment, communication channels (cabling, telephone, electricity, heating/cooling/ventilation systems), locking mechanisms, and other infrastructure located in rooms, auditoriums, laboratories, and university premises into operational condition, including maintenance and repair;
  •  Assisting the department, within competence, in the maintenance and care of material-technical resources;
  • Participation in planned and unplanned activities necessary for proper building operation;
  • Supporting the department in carrying out essential repair and preventive work to ensure normal technical functioning of the building;
  • In the event of a power outage, assisting the Operations Manager and Technical Manager in transitioning the facility to local electricity supply;
  • Participation in inventory processes;
  • Supporting department staff in core activities and fulfilling instructions assigned by the supervisor.

 

Qualification Requirements:

 

  • Full general education.

 

Additional Requirements:

 

  • Communicative, energetic, organized, and responsible;
    • Ability to resolve issues quickly and thoroughly;
    • Ability to process and synthesize information in a timely manner.

 

Working Conditions:

 

  • Work schedule: Monday through Saturday
    (Saturday is a shortened workday; attendance requirements to be agreed upon with management);
    Weekday hours: 09:00–18:00 and/or 10:00–19:00;
  • Probation period: 3 months (fully paid);
  • Salary: 1000 GEL;
  •  Number of available positions: 2
