Caucasus School of Law team at the Philip Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition

The team of Caucasus School of Law successfully competed in the global round of the Philip Jessup International Law Moot Court competition.

 

At the written stage, the CSL team received the highest rating in the region and became the only university from Georgia to be in the top 30 percent of the participating teams.

 

With the points accumulated at the oral competition stage, the CSL team was included in the "Top 250 Team". Rusudan Shashikadze, a member of the team, holds a place in the "Top 30 Percent" in the individual rating.

 

The CSL team consisted of master's students: Rusudan Shashikadze, Ana Dumbadze, Mariam Pilishvili. The team was led by Tinatin Oboladze, a trainer at Caucasus School of Law in international and local competitions.

 

About 600 law faculties from more than 90 countries, including 4 universities from Georgia, took part in the competition. The Philip Jessup International Law Moot Court competition is the largest and most prestigious competition in the field of international law. It is also a simulation competition of the United Nations International Court of Justice.
