From 5 to 17 October, the DAAD-funded program “AI meets Arts” was successfully implemented within the framework of cooperation between Caucasus University and the University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden (OTH-AW).
The summer school was conducted in two stages: the first at Caucasus University and the second at the University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden (OTH-AW) in Germany. The programme included lectures, practical seminars, and a hackathon focusing on contemporary developments in artificial intelligence.
The academic programme was led by Professors Rati Skhirtladze and Guram Shvangiradze from the School of Technology at Caucasus University, together with Professor Tatyana Ivanovska from the partner university. The programme brought together undergraduate students from the School of Technology at Caucasus University.
Throughout the programme, participants developed practical skills, worked on team projects, and presented their work during the final stage of the hackathon. Cultural activities in Georgia and Germany were also an important part of the summer school, encouraging experience-sharing among participants and strengthening international cooperation.
The programme contributed to strengthening academic collaboration between the two universities and exploring the potential of artificial intelligence in creative fields.
