On March 27, Javier Bellmont,Charge’ d’Affaires a.i of Spain in Georgia and Manuel Fernandez-Conde Rodriguez, Head of Studies of Instituto Cervantes, visited Caucasus University.

In the framework of the visit a welcome meeting has been held with the Vice-President for Internationalization, Ms. Irena Melua. On behalf of the Caucasus University, Director of International Relations Department, Ms. Ketevan Karbaia, Deputy Director of International Relations Department, Ms. Ana Tavartkiladze and the Head of the Spanish Language Academic Unit and the Head of the DELE Examination Center, Mrs. Amalia Mkhitariani, also attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the guests received detailed information about the Internationalization processes of the Caucasus University, and got acquainted with the existing cooperation with the leading Spanish universities and planned future projects.

It is worth mentioning that as of the current academic year, in cooperation with the Instituto Cervantes, Caucasus University has obtained authorization to establish a DELE Examination Center. Within the scope of its activities, the center organizes the international Spanish language certification examination (DELE).

The registration process for the 2026 DELE exams is currently open.
