Student Scientific Conference “NATO and the New World Order: Challenges and Prospects”

On 20 March, the Ir. Tsereteli NATO Research Centre at Caucasus University, successfully hosted a student research conference on the topic: “NATO and the New World Order: Challenges and Prospects”.

 

The conference focused on the upcoming anniversary of NATO and the major challenges currently facing the international security system. Global political transformations, regional crises, hybrid warfare and information security issues require us to reconsider and reassess NATO’s role, functions and strategic priorities.

 

Guranda Tchelidze, Head of the Ir. Tsereteli NATO Research Centre, and David Tsiklauri, Director of Research Facilitation Department, welcomed the participants. They emphasized the importance of scientific conferences in actively engaging students in contemporary international political discourse, developing critical thinking skills, and fostering the exchange of academic experience among young researchers.

 

Students from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and School of Governance at Caucasus University presented papers at the conference. The topics presented generated significant interest among the audience.

 

Givi Amiranashvili, Associate Professor at the School of Governance, moderated the conference. There was an active and substantive discussion during the event.

 

David Natroshvili, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, summarized the conference. Participants were presented with certificates at the conclusion of the event.
