On July 21, the President of Caucasus University, Dr. Kakha Shengelia, hosted the Rector of Bukhara State University, Professor Obidjon Khamidov.
As part of the visit, a working meeting was held with the participation of representatives from Caucasus University, including Vice-President for Internationalization, Irena Melua, and Director of the International Relations Department, Ketevan Karbaia.
During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for further strengthening cooperation between the two institutions, including the development of joint educational initiatives, short-term academic programs, and collaborative research projects.
Within the framework of the visit, Caucasus University and Bukhara State University signed a Memorandum of Understanding, marking an important step toward deepening academic and institutional cooperation between the two universities.
The agreement will create new opportunities for knowledge and experience exchange, student and academic staff mobility, as well as the implementation of joint academic and research initiatives.
Caucasus University continues to actively expand its international partnerships and strengthen cooperation with leading universities worldwide, further advancing its commitment to global engagement and internationalization of higher education.
