On 19 March, the Faculty of Economics at the State University of Moldova hosted an international student conference on the topic of “Marketing and Tourism for Sustainable and Innovative Development”.
Giorgi Mzhavanadze, a student at the Caucasus University, Caucasus School of Business, participated in the conference remotely alongside students from Moldova.
His presentation “Sustainable Micro-Hospitality and Innovative Destination Branding: The Role of Private Villas in Regional Tourism Development”, examined private villas as an innovative strategy for regional tourism development and destination branding. It highlighted how such an approach could strengthen the region's positioning and contribute to the long-term popularity of the national tourism brand. It generated significant interest among the audience, with all participants' questions receiving comprehensive answers. The paper was carried out under the supervision of Professor Guranda Tchelidze.
