PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The mission of the Master's program in Education Policy at the Caucasus Education School is to prepare highly skilled education policy professionals who will contribute to the development of high-quality education policies at all levels, supporting the country’s development while addressing local and global challenges and trends.

 

The Master’s program in Education Policy aims to:

 

  1. Understand the essence and significance of education policy – providing in-depth knowledge of its core principles, historical development, and contextual relevance;
  2. Analyze education policy – providing methodological and analytical tools needed to critically  assess ongoing processes and address challenges in the field;
  3. Develop policy and communicate effectively – fostering skills to clearly define education policy issues, develop policies, and ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement in the process;
  4. Improve the quality of education policy – building expertise to enhance the education quality and contribute to national development;
  5. Promote professional development and knowledge creation – encounrage continuous professional growth through the study of innovative approaches and active engagement in generating new knowledge in education policy.
