The findings of a research study conducted at Caucasus University, entitled “Introduction of the Diagnosis-Related Groups (DRG) Financing Method in Georgia and Its Impact on the Efficiency of Medical Services,” have been published in the international peer-reviewed journal Economics and Business.
A public lecture was held at the Caucasus School of Medicine, dedicated to an international research project examining parental attitudes toward vaccines in Georgia and India. The lecture presented the project’s objectives, methodology, and key findings achieved to date.
Caucasus University has been awarded funding through the Young Scientists Research Grant Competition announced by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia.

A research article authored by Prof. Tengiz Verulava, Professor at Caucasus University School of Business, and Mr. Shota Abzianidze, Master of Public Health at Caucasus University, has been published in the prestigious international, peer-reviewed journal Bulgarian Journal of Psychiatry, which is indexed in the Scopus international scientific database.
The results of the joint study conducted by Caucasus University and Tbilisi State Medical University, titled “Microplastic Exposure During Pregnancy: A Systematic Review of Risks to Maternal and Fetal Health,” were published in the reputable, peer-reviewed international journal Eurasian Journal of Family Medicine.
On September 26, the 10th International Scientific Conference “Archival Studies, Source Studies, Trends and Challenges” was held at the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. The three-day conference brought together about 160 Georgian and foreign scientists and researchers.
An affiliated associate professor of Caucasus University, Mariam Lomaia, PhD, participated in the 25th Multidisciplinary Medical Conference organized by the Association for Medical Education and Evidence-Based Medicine, where she presented a report on “Otolaryngological Complication in a Rare Disease: A Clinical Case; Changes in Mucosal Membranes in the Context of COVID 19”.
A study conducted at Caucasus University has been published in an influential Spanish international refereed journal: "Spanish Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics“ (CiteScore: 1.2; indexed in Scopus).
The prestigious British international refereed journal „Global Cardiology Science & Practice“ has published the paper titled “Health-promoting behaviors among patients with heart failure: A cross-sectional study in Georgia".
