On November 24, a new project by the Caucasus School of Media called “CSM Youth for Medial Literacy” began.

On October 18, Caucasus University hosted Dr. Vivian S. Walker of the Southern California Center on Public Diplomacy.

On September 6, within the framework of the course “Media and Society” Professor of Michigan University Eric Fridman delivered his first lecture for the senior year students of Caucasus School of Media.

On July 2, 3, and 6 students of Caucasus School of Media defended their Master’s theses.

On July 5, the students of Caucasus School of Media presented revised programs of CSM online radio.

On January 20, the results of University Entrant Blogger Contest were announced.

On July 4, students of the CSM Bachelor’s Program of Media and Art defended their diploma works and presented video and photo projects and graphic design works. The members of the commission were directors David Gersamia and Irakli Shatberashvili and a journalist Aleksandre Keshelashvili, who positively evaluated the students’ works.

On July 11, students of the CSM Strategic Communication Program defended their Master's papers. The Commission, comprising the field professionals and academic personnel, positively evaluated the Master's students’ works and emphasized that the researches echoed modern trends in the field. They stated most of the papers include the research which will be useful for the companies operating on the market and for those involved in politics.

On June 5, CSM Student Science Conference ’’Conflict Reporting’’ was held at Caucasus University.
