From April 13–17, the Administrative Director of the Undergraduate and Graduate Programs of Caucasus Tourism School, Tornike Purtseladze, participated in the International Week program at Šiauliai State University of Applied Sciences in Lithuania for Erasmus+ staff mobility.
Approximately 40 representatives from 15 countries took part in the International Week, making the event diverse and highly interactive. The program included meetings, presentations, and working sessions, with the main goal of fostering professional connections among representatives of higher education institutions from different countries, sharing experiences, and discussing prospects for future cooperation.
As part of the event, each university presented its institution, academic programs, and key areas of international activity. Participants also had the opportunity to organize national stands showcasing their culture, traditions, national dishes, and beverages, which facilitated communication and mutual understanding in an informal setting.
One of the main objectives of the visit was to identify new partners, as well as to discuss important issues related to existing and planned programs. During the meetings, universities exchanged information about ongoing and future educational initiatives, discussed opportunities for student and academic staff exchanges, and explored prospects for joint projects and research collaboration.
This international visit once again highlights Caucasus University’s active engagement in the global educational space and its commitment to strengthening international ties, which in turn contributes to the professional development of students and academic staff and enhances the quality of education.
