Caucasus University is announcing a vacancy for the position of Administrative Director of Doctoral Programs in Caucasus Schools of Business and Economics

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide student registration for training courses and other components, control the process and, if necessary, provide appropriate assistance/advice;
  • Constantly monitor the organizational side of the learning process, maintain day-to-day interactions with academic staff and students;
  • Provide registration of relevant courses for the academic program in the electronic database of the University;
  • Prepare semester study schedule (table) and examination tables;
  • Participate in the process of program self-assessment and preparation of semester report within the scope of authority;
  • Participate in the process of authorization and software accreditation within the scope of competence;
  • Contribute to students' scientific activities within the scope of competence. Inform students about school science conferences and organize them;
  • Organize joint meetings with lecturers, and orientation meetings with new lecturers with the involvement of the Personnel Management Department;
  • During the restoration of students' mobility and/or status, participate in the process of recognition of credits they have acquired;
  • Participate in the process of finding partner organizations needed for the school;
  • Take the necessary measures to provide students with educational literature;
  • Take care of the creation/updating of school educational programs (catalog);
  • Provide timely acquisition of exam materials, familiarization and, within the scope of authority, verify the technical/stylistic and content aspects of the specific course syllabus;
  • Prepare a semester service card together with the Finance Department;
  • Inform lecturers about university regulations;
  • Attend midterm and final exams;
  • Review of students' semester evaluations of lecturers and annual reports on student and alumni satisfaction surveys with the Dean, the Academic Supervisor of the program, and the Quality Assurance Department;
  • Facilitate the process of individual student consultation with non-academic staff and non-audit activities;
  • Coordinate doctoral dissertation protection procedures;
  • Examine the student's compliance with the mandatory requirements for enrollment in the curriculum;
  • Prepare the documents required for awarding students' academic degrees;

 

Qualification requirements:

  • Possession of at least a master's degree or an equivalent academic degree in education administration / management (PhD is preferred);
  • At least 3 (three) years of experience working in a managerial position. (Preference will be given to persons with experience of working in an administrative position in a higher education institution);
  • Knowledge of English (at least B2 level).

Working Conditions:

Working day - full time

  • Monday - Friday: 11: 00- 20:00, 

Saturday - Short working day: 09:00-14: 00.

Probationary period: 3 months
