On March 21, at 13:30, Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center invites you to a public masterclass dedicated to exploring opportunities for expanding into Asian markets and gaining insights from Japan’s startup ecosystem.
The session will be led by Dr. Boonho Koh, Incubation Manager at Tsucrea Co., Ltd. (Japan). Dr. Koh holds a Doctorate of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Tokyo and an MBA from Globis University, Japan. He has extensive experience supporting startups in research and development, technology commercialization, mentoring, and international expansion.
Currently, Dr. Koh works closely with Japanese startups, supporting their technological development and global market entry. He is also actively involved in assisting foreign startups entering the Japanese market by connecting them with investors, partners, and innovation networks.
The masterclass will address:
- Opportunities for startups to expand into Asian markets
• Key characteristics of Japan’s startup ecosystem
• The role of international networks in scaling innovative ventures
• Potential collaboration between Georgian and Japanese startups
The event is part of a broader initiative aimed at strengthening support for Georgian startups through enhanced international networking, improved market access, and stronger collaboration among ecosystem stakeholders.
