The state of implementation of the June 17, 2022 recommendations of the European Commission in Georgia

On March 9, at 11:00, in the conference hall of Caucasus University, Georgian Young Lawyers' Association, with the support of the "Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia", will hold a public lecture within the framework of the project "Civil Society STAR Initiative: CSOs as Sustainable, Transparent, Accountable and Resilient Development Actors in Georgia" funded by the European Union and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. The topic of the lecture: "The state of implementation of the June 17, 2022 recommendations of the European Commission in Georgia - monitoring of the activities of the parliament in relation to issues of parliamentary control, elections and justice".

 

The lecture will be led by: Nanuka Kruashvili, Director of the Democratic Institutions Support Program of GYLA; Nino Kapanadze - project analyst and Mariam Batselashvili - project supervisor.

 

The following issues will be discussed:

 

  • European integration
  • The importance of fulfilling the recommendations of the European Commission and the ongoing processes in the Parliament of Georgia in this direction.

 

Within the framework of the project, GYLA is working on the research document "The state of implementation of the June 17, 2022 recommendations of the European Commission in Georgia - monitoring of the activities of the parliament in relation to issues of parliamentary control, elections and justice".
