The WSET (Wine and Spirits Education Trust) Certificate is an internationally recognized qualification in wine and spirits and is designed for both spirit professionals and beginners who want to deepen their knowledge of spirits.
For passing WSET level 2, a Level 1 certificate is not required.
The course is designed for prospective sommelier, wine production, sales, hotel or restaurant business professionals and enthusiasts who want to explore wine and other spirits in a more structured way.
In the course, the trainee will study the aspects of viticulture and winemaking, the factors that significantly affect the quality of wine. During the lectures, the most important wine regions of the world, vine varieties, wines and their characteristic aromas will be discussed.
Tastings will be held daily during the course.
At the end of the course, a theoretical exam will be held, in case of successful passing of the exam, an international certificate and a WSET level 2 badge will be issued.
