On February 28, a workshop with representatives of Winnet Sverige was held at Caucasus University. The meeting with Georgian partners was attended by President of Winnet Sweden - Brit-Mary Thorstenston and President of Winnet Armenia - Ruzana Torosian. Winnet Sverige is an NGO working on issues such as gender equality and women's involvement in public life.

On February 25, Caucasus University hosted to Logical Games League on which was registered 116 team

A delegation of Caucasus University paid a four-day visit to Edalat University and a Research Institute SITI 1 in Iran. The aim of the visit was expanding and deepening existing cooperation and embarking on a joint project. The Iranian side is planning cooperation with Caucasus University in the field of Tourism. The official part of the meeting was held in the research institute, during which the Vice-President of Edalat University and Director of SITI 1, Dr. Muhammad Sharif Malekzadeh reiterated that both Universities are ready to embark on a mutually beneficial cooperation.  

On February 16-17, at Expo Georgia was held International Education Fair 2017.  IEFG is bringing together various Universities, in which Caucasus University was also participating.

On February 16, the students of CSB and BDO joint certificate program were awarded certificates.

On February 16, modern-day author Nino Tarkhnishvili visited Caucasus University in the framework of World Book Reading Day and read the miniatures of "Nino's NOTES."

On February 10, the President of Caucasus University was conferred the title of Honorary Doctor of Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara.

On February 2-3, Kakha Shengelia, President of Caucasus University and President-Elect of International Association of University Presidents attended the IAUP Semi-annual Meeting. The Semi-annual meeting was hosted by  University of San Diego, San Diego State University, CETYS Universidad universities.

On January 28-29, Caucasus University's Startup Accelerator - C10, whithin the grant of Georgia's Innovation and Technology Agency held hackathon called - Smart City - Live in a Better City.  The event was co-organized by the startup accelerators management company "Blender". 

In 2016, at Convention of Eduniversal which was held in Paris, Caucasus School of Business was nominated as the best school of all the business Schools operating in Georgia.

On December 24-25, Caucasus University's startup accelerator C10 held a competition JunkThon.

Competitors had an useless electrical equipment, from which they had to create something new and exciting during 2 days. 

JTI (Japan Tobacco International) revealed competition winners. 

On December 13,the publishing house Palitra L held a presentation for students and lecturers of CU. The topic of presentation was project "Blue Ocean". 

On December 10, Peace Research Institute of Caucasus School og Governance within the framework of extracurricular educational activities hosted a presentation of documentary film - Before The Flood, 2016.

On November 30, Caucasus School of Tourism hosted to the representatives of Japan Tourism Company (JTB), which is the winner of  JICA's tender. The aim of the company is to study the tourism development in Georgia and other countries in South Caucasia.

On November 30, at Prof. Mzia Mikeladze conference hall Caucasus School of Media and TV Company Imedi signed a memorandum of cooperation, which includes the internships at TV company Imedi for CSM students.

On November 29, CU students of Batumi branch met with the Chairman of Young Lawyers Association - Giorgi Khimshiashvili.  The purpose of the meeting was to inform students about the organization and give info about projects, which gives the opportunity to students of Law School to participate in it.

On November 18, was held CU student self-government elections. By the results, President of Caucasus University's student self-government was elected Bidzina Eradze, and as Vice-Presidents -Ilia Lazishvili and Tornike Gelovani. 

On November 18, 2016 Students’ Science Conference on Prospects of the European Integration of Georgia was held at the hotel Bomond Garden Tbilisi; the Conference facilitated by Friedrich Ebert Foundation was organized by Caucasus University, Eastern European University, Georgian Institute of Public Affairs and Tbilisi European Youth Center.
