With the active involvement of the academic staff of the Caucasus University School of Law and PhD students of the doctoral program in Law, an important international scientific project was successfully implemented.

Dr. Khatuna Burkadze, a professor at Caucasus University, addressed Senior Course 148 and the NDC Anciens during NDC’s seminar entitled “Artificial Intelligence - A Primer for the Strategic Level”.

Irakli Shamatava, Affiliated Associate Professor at Caucasus University, Editor-in-Chief of a scholarly journal, and Ph.D. in Law, has authored an article titled “The Role of the Writ of Execution Issued by a Notary in Preventive Justice and Effective Enforcement,” which has been published in the international refereed and peer-reviewed scholarly journal Law and World.

Dr. Khatuna Burkadze, a professor at the School of Law at Caucasus University, presented on how artificial intelligence can advance cyber defense capabilities at the Second International Cybersecurity Conference in Tbilisi.

Through the initiative and efforts of Caucasus University Child Rights Center, Caucasus University has officially become a full member of the Children’s Rights European Academic Network (CREAN).

The project “European Court of Human Rights Moot Court” was successfully carried out at the Caucasus School of Law. The project was led by Tamar Avaliani, Affiliated Associate Professor at Caucasus School of Law.

On June 16, Caucasus University hosted the presentation of the first commentary on the Juvenile Justice Code, now published in its second edition.

Levan Darbaidze, Affiliated Professor at Caucasus University School of Law, founder of the Child Rights Center, Doctor of Law, and judge, has been elected as a full member of the Council of the International Association of Youth and Family Judges and Magistrates (AIMJF).

On June 4–6, Levan Darbaidze, Affiliated Professor at Caucasus University, Founder of the Child Rights Center and Judge, participated in the international conference “The Role of Academia in Promoting Child Rights,” hosted by the International Hellenic University in Thessaloniki, Greece.
