From June 27 to July 2, as part of the Erasmus + Academic Staff Mobility, Valladolid University, Spain (Universidad de Valladolid, Spain) hosted Professor Maxim Iavich, a lecturer at the Caucasus School of Technology.

On July 5-9, as part of the Erasmus + administrative staff mobility, the University of Alcala, Spain, hosted Tatia Maisuradze, Administrative Director of undergraduate programs at Caucasus School of Business.

Dr. Kakha Shengelia, president of Caucasus Univeristy, and Viktor Kipiani, the head of Geocase, signed a memorandum of cooperation between Caucasus University and the analytical organization Geocase. 

On June 27-30, the European Commission-funded ERASMUS + Institutional Development (CBHE) project "Role of Regional Universities in the Development of the Region" (RURD) was held in Batumi. Dr. Kakha Shengelia, President of Caucasus University, and Irena Melua, Director of the Department of International Relations and Projects, along with the representatives of the regional Georgian universities included in the project consortium, participated in the meeting together. The event was hosted by Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and Batumi Maritime Academy.

Caucasus University is announcing “Call” for applications for the Erasmus+ Exchange program at the Middle East Technical University, Turkey, for Fall 2021 Semester.

Giorgi Tskhadaia, an affiliated associate professor at Caucasus School of Governance, published an article "Paradoxes of Tolerance: Deconstructive Version" in the journal "Analysis and Existence".

Tengiz Verulava, a professor at Caucasus School of Medicine and Healthcare Management, published a paper "Pre-operative anxiety in patients with congenital heart diseases" in the Journal of Cardiovascular Disease Research.

On June 23, the EU-funded Jean Monnet project " Promoting European Union's Cyber Education (PEU-C-E)" hosted a training for the students of Telavi  State University– “Cyber Hygiene - How to Protect Yourself and Your Data in The Cyberspace”, led by Caucasus University lecturers Maxim Iavich and Giorgi Iashvili.

On June 22, the Network of International Business and Economics Schools (NIBES) organized a second research workshop on the topic: Transforming Educational Practices in Business Education.

On June 23, the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement awarded a 4-year accreditation to the Caucasus School of Humanities and Social Sciences English-language bachelor’s degree program in psychology.

On June 21, 2021 an informational meeting was held at Caucasus University in the frameworks of Erasmus plus CBHE project „Raising Research Capacity of Georgian HEIs through Developing R&D Units / HERD“. The meeting was attended by the affiliated academic personal and PhD students.

On May 29, the Civic Education Lecturers Association organized a presentation of student civic engagement projects as part of the University Democracy and Citizenship course. 18 civic engagement projects were selected throughout Georgia.

On June 20, Clara (Inga) Karaia, an associate professor at Caucasus University, delivered a lecture to students at the Georgian National Museum, D. Shevardnadze National Gallery, and the Museum of Soviet Occupation as part of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences lecture courses - Museum Studies and Cultural Studies.
