President of CU was awarded Education Award "Academic Palma"
On June 19, According to French Institute of Georgia, under the authority of Vincent Peillon, France's Minister of Education, Kakha Shengelia, President of CU was awarded Education Award "Academic Palma". Meeting with President of Georgia
President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili met with a cross section of CU students. Georgia's president elect personally hosted students in the presidential palace. The meeting was conducted in a question and answer format. Students were actively involved in asking questions. Mikheil Saakashvili proceeded to award Kakha Shengelia with the Presidential Order

Final round of CU brainstorming was held at CU
On June 10, final round of CU brainstorming was held. In the final round the schools of CSB, CSL and CST  had four teams participating. In the final round, with 18 right answers out of 24 CSL team "Hedgehog" won

Nino Zhizhilashvili, Dean of CSM discussed her students, learning environment at the university and opportunities and perspectives for alumni placements and career support. The morning program "Alarm Clock", has as one of its anchors, CU's alumnus Levan Zhorzholiani; he recently hosted Nino Zhizhilashvili along with Salome Modebadze, one of the producers of Politmetre.
