Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center’s startup pre-acceleration program CUnicorn has carried out its seventh week’s activities. The program participants were introduced to the concept developing and managing high performing startup teams.

The third hackathon/tour of Cyber Security League was held at Caucasus University.

A meeting was held in the bookstore of Caucasus University "Librarea" with the co-founder of Deal Company and Film Collectiv, Salome Sulava, who is an international trainer, luxury and B2B sales expert. She worked in France for 10 years and partnered with such brands as Balenciaga, Chloe, Christian Dior and others.

The dissertation defense of Natia Gelashvili, a student of the English-language PhD program in economics, was held on June 9 at Caucasus University. The topic of her thesis was “The Impact of Agricultural Spending on value creation in Agriculture: Case of Georgia”.

At the invitation of Professor Guranda Chelidze, academic head of the Caucasus School of Humanities and Social Sciences European studies bachelor’s degree program, a meeting of representatives of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) of Georgia was held with students on June 8 at Caucasus University.

On June 5-9, the Department of International Relations of the Caucasus University hosted Professor Nico Bortoletto of the University of Teramo, Italy and the representatives of the Polytechnic University of Castelo Branco, Portugal - Conceição Baptista and Joāo Pedro Luz with Erasmus+ academic and administrative staff mobility.

On the initiative of the Student and Organizational Events Service of Caucasus University, on June 8, the backgammon championship of Caucasus University, named after Valeri Telia, was held in CU.

On June 7, at 14:00, in the library of Caucasus University, a public lecture was held about a classic of Italian literature, the book "If This Is a Man" by Primo Levi.

On June 7, in the conference hall of Caucasus University, a public lecture was held on the topic: Love
lessons from ancient Greece. The lecture was conducted by Hellenist and translator Tatia Mtvarelidze. 

Representatives of the online academy SKILLWILL met with the students of Caucasus University in the Caucasus University bookstore "Librarea". 

Natia Khvichava, a first-year student in the Bachelor of European Studies program at the Caucasus University School of Humanities and Social Sciences, finished second in the photo contest "I See Europe" organized by the Information Center on NATO and EU for photography lovers.

From May 29 to June 2, the Department of International Relations of the Caucasus University hosted Omar Makimov Palotta, professor of law at the University of Teramo, Italy, as part of the Erasmus+ academic staff mobility program.

On June 3, in the conference hall of Caucasus University, the defense of the PhD thesis of Irakli Kalandadze was held.
