It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Jason A. Scorza, honorary doctor of CU, an outstanding public and educational figure, a doctor of great merit.

On March 16, the CU CODE QUEST competition for entrants was held at Caucasus University.

On March 15, professor of the School of Tourism, Giorgi Bregadze, held a public lecture in the library of Caucasus University. The topic of the lecture was "Challenges of Implementing EU Directives into the New Tourism Law".

On March 15, an informational meeting for prospective students interested in bachelor's programs was held on the CU campus.

Nina Mustafaeva, a student of the Caucasus School of Governance, took part in the public diplomacy youth summit held in Azerbaijan. It should be noted that Nina won the title of the best delegate.

On March 11-13, SAP ERP workshop was held at the Caucasus University, within the framework of the Digital Logistics Week, for those interested in the field of logistics and supply chain management.

On March 12, international company Deloitte, a member of the Big Four, visited Caucasus University.

On March 14, as part of the Digital Logistics Week, Caucasus University hosted German Ambassador Peter Fischer and Head of the DAAD Tbilisi Regional Office Gebhard Reul.

On March 12, a presentation on double degree 3-year bachelor's programs was held at Caucasus University for applicants. Before the presentation, participants learned about the history of the university, existing programs, and the opportunities available to them at CU.

One of the main events in the tourism industry, the international tourism exhibition, was held in Berlin this year on March 5-7. Professionals from the tourism sector, including representatives from various countries such as Georgia, participated in the event.

On March 11, the auditing company EY visited Caucasus University as part of the Big Four meetings. 

On March 11, "Fair Elections" started a certificate course - "Disinformation and Propaganda Narratives in Social Media" for students of Caucasus University.

On March 7-9, in Great Britain, the 2024 semi-annual meeting of the "International Association of University Presidents" was held at Nottingham Trent University. The topic of the meeting was: "Transforming Higher Education, Transforming Lives". Meetings were held at both the London and Nottingham campuses.

7-8 March, Dubrovnik, Croatia. Dean of Caucasus School of Governance and current President of the Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe (NISPAcee) Prof. Eka Akobia participated in the 13^th Trans-European Dialogue (TED) organized by the University of Zagreb Faculty of Law.

On March 9, at CU, the trendiest international business game - FRESH Connection - was held for those interested in the digital logistics master's program, the field of logistics and supply chain management.

In 2022, the Jean Monnet Module "EUropeanization of law programs in Georgia" 101084764 — EU-LP-GE) of the Caucasus University (namely the Caucasus Law School) was granted the support from the European Commission. The author of the JM Module is prof. Ekaterine KARDAVA. The JM Module is led by professors Guranda CHELIDZE and Ekaterine Kardava.
