Caucasus University successfully hosted the four-day Green Tourism Business Challenge, developed and implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ CBHE ENRICHER-hubs project. The event brought together more than twenty students from various CU schools, who worked on a real industry case using the internationally recognized Design Sprint methodology.
On 2 December, Dean of the Caucasus School of Governance, Professor Eka Akobia, hosted the Associate Professor Olga Oleinikova from the School of Communication (Department of Social and Political Sciences) at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), who will spend a period of time as a visiting research fellow at the Caucasus School of Governance.

Caucasus University and the international accelerator Rainmaking Innovation Europe have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The document was signed by Irena Melua, Vice President for Internationalization at Caucasus University, and Sarah Grippay, Program Manager at Rainmaking Innovation Europe.
On November 27, Caucasus University hosted a meeting for students of Caucasus School of Law as part of the 16-day global campaign against violence against women and domestic violence. The campaign aims to combat violence, raise public awareness, promote prevention, and highlight the state services available to victims of violence.
Professor Giorgi Bregadze and Assistant Professors Nata Robitashvili and Nino Tigishvili of the Caucasus University School of Tourism took part in Georgia’s most significant tourism event of the year - the national tourism summit “Turisteri,” held in the city of Batumi.
On November 26, at Caucasus University, organized by CU’s International Center for Georgian Studies, a public lecture and discussion was held with Rusudan Kobakhidze on the topic “The Anatomy of Soviet Propaganda.”
An information session for international students was held at Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of Caucasus University. The aim of the meeting was to introduce students to the Center’s activities, ongoing projects, and upcoming initiatives.
On 18 November, the President of Caucasus University, Dr. Kakha Shengelia, and the Vice President for Internationalization, Irena Melua, held a bilateral meeting with the Vice Chancellor of the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT), Professor Chris Nhlapo, the DeputyVice Chancellor, Professor Marschall Sheldon, and other representatives of the university.
From 17–19 November, President of Caucasus University, Kakha Shengelia, Vice President for Internationalization Irena Melua, and Director of the Projects Department Akaki Kapanadze participated in the GastroTour Stakeholder and Project Management Meeting, held in Stellenbosch, South Africa, within the framework of the Erasmus+ funded Higher Education Capacity Building project, GastroTour.
Caucasus University hosted a two-day informational lecture-training for students of the School of Economics, led by invited specialists from the Revenue Service. The sessions, focused on “Business Taxation Regimes and Tax Administration Practices in Georgia,” provided students with essential, practice-oriented knowledge in the field.
On November 21, the first informational meeting for the 2025-2026 academic year was held at CU.
On 21 November, Caucasus University hosted a public lecture delivered by Ursina Weidkun, Swiss juvenile court judge, international expert on children’s rights, member of the Executive Board of the International Association of Youth and Family Judges and Magistrates (AIMJF), and Doctor of Law. The lecture was held in collaboration with Professor Levan Darbaidze and was intended for students of Caucasus University School of Law.
On November 20, a public lecture titled “School and Bullying: A Systemic Perspective from Theory to Practice” was held at Caucasus University. The lecture was delivered by psychologist Nata Asatiani.
On 20 November, the Caucasus University Child Rights Center, in cooperation with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), hosted the Third International Conference on “Children’s Rights in the Justice System – Challenges and Perspectives.”
On November 20, within the framework of the cooperation between Caucasus University and the French-Georgian University, another public lecture was held for the students and academic staff of the Caucasus School of Economics on the topic - “Special Economic Zones of Georgia: Opportunities and Regional Perspectives”.
On November 20, Caucasus University hosted a delegation from the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau, Germany (TH Wildau).
On 18 November, the newly appointed Ambassador of France to Georgia, His Excellency Olivier Courtaud, visited Caucasus University.
